DATA2_Milk .tab

This dataset contains data for 28 cows for milk production and milk quality. All cows were submitted to 3 periods. Period 1 all cows were on a basal control Diet, Period 2, 14 cows were submitted to a nutritional high starch Challenge and 14 cows remained under the same control Low starch diet. In P3 all 28 cows returned to the control basal diet. Between Period 1 and 2 the 14 challenge cows were progressively adapted to the high starch diet during 10 days of Transition period (PT). All cows were milked twice a day at 0800 and 1530. Milk yield was estimated daily but milk quality and composition was assessed twice a week. Dataset 2 comes from INRAE Herbipôle experimental farm (DOI: https://doi.org/10.15454/1.5572318050509348E12). This dataset contains values for each 28 cows for milk yield (L/day), Milk Fat Content (g/Kg), Milk Protein content (g/Kg), Milk Fat to protein ratio, Lactose (g/L), Cells (*1000/mL) and Urea (mg/L)
