This dataset accompanies the paper "Local postural changes elicit extensive and diverse skin stretch around joints, on the trunk, and the face", by Mia Rupani, Luke D Cleland, and Hannes P Saal.

Please see Rupani_Data_Overview.xlsx for details of all data included, and specifically which trials served as reference trials to be included in the paper. The main data files are in DuoDIC format, as described in the following paper: Solav D, Silverstein A. DuoDIC: 3D Digital Image Correlation in MATLAB. J Open Source Softw. 2022;7: 4279.

Matlab is required for reading in the data. Additionally, the DuoDIC toolbox includes some relevant plotting functions. It is available here: https://github.com/SolavLab/DuoDIC

Raw data is not included due to privacy reasons. However, each participant/region combination includes an anonymized reference image, which can be used to recreate the illustrations contained in the paper.
