The Pa608 strain isolated from the rhizosphere soil of pepper belongs to P. aeruginosa, which is a new biological control strain used to control pepper blight. We also analyzed its enzyme properties and predicted the genes and metabolic pathways in the genome that inhibit pathogenic bacteria. The results of these experiments tell us that the strains found have potential for the control of pepper phytophthora blight and further research.
