CD-ROM Surface Current Data Set

This Compact Disc-Read Only Memory(CD-ROM) contains the current data set (3,489,497 stations) collected in JODC from 1900 to 1993 from the domestic and international agencies in ASCII text files. The data station plot for every 5 years and the monthly mean current plot are also contained. In addition, software to display plotting pictures on the screen contained. This CD-ROM uses the standard volume and file structure of ISO9660. The contents of CD-ROM are described in the ASCII text file named "README.ENG" in English version at "http://www.jodc.jhd.go.jp/data_set/jodc/jodc2-readme.html" and "README.JPN" in Japanese, contains the structure of directory, data source, data format, code tables, the explanation of the attendant software.
