该数据集为基于Sentinel-1 SAR数据的青藏高原湖泊面积季节变化数据。青藏高原由于高云覆盖,通常用来监测湖泊面积的光学遥感影像数据,如Landsat只能用来监测湖泊年尺度面积变化,而对湖泊季节变化研究了解较少。使用Sentinel-1 SAR数据,对青藏高原大于50平方公里湖泊月尺度面积进行了提取。
数据集包含了1个shp矢量文件,LakeSeasonalCycle2015-2017.shp。
This dataset provides seasonal variation data of lake surface areas on the Tibetan Plateau based on Sentinel-1 SAR data. Due to persistent high cloud cover over the Tibetan Plateau, optical remote sensing imagery commonly used for lake area monitoring (such as Landsat) can only detect annual-scale changes in lake surface areas, leading to limited understanding of the seasonal variations of lakes in this region. Sentinel-1 SAR data was used to extract monthly-scale surface areas of lakes with a surface area greater than 50 km² on the Tibetan Plateau. The dataset contains one shapefile (SHP): LakeSeasonalCycle2015-2017.shp.
