Foxp3+ regulatory T (Treg) cells restrict immune pathology in inflamed tissues; however, an inflammatory environment presents a threat to Treg cell identity and function. We investigated gene expression of Treg cells and conventional T (Tcon) cells in the central nervous system (CNS) and in secondary lymphoid tissues during CNS autoimmunity. We also assessed the gene expression profile of CNS derived Blimp1-deficient Treg cells as compared to their wild-type counterparts
