Psychometric Validation of the Mental Toughness Scale (MTS) in Chilean University Athletes

These data correspond to the validation of the Mental Toughness Scale (MTS) with Chilean athletes. The dataset includes responses from university athletes across various sports disciplines, collected as part of a study assessing the factorial structure, reliability, and validity of the MTS in this population. The data were analysed using Exploratory Structural Equation Modelling (ESEM) to determine the most appropriate factor structure for measuring mental toughness in Chilean sports contexts.
