Compare with normal nasopharyngeal epithelial cells, we found BDH2 was decreased in NPC cells, we found that BDH2 inhibited proliferation, colony formation, migration and invasion in NPC cells. We used microarrays to identify differential genes regulated by BDH2 in NPC cell lines. A NPC cell line were included in the microarray analysis. the NPC cell line 5-8F was stably transfected with control vector and BDH2 expression plasmid. We had three single clones of pCMV6-Entry-5-8F. pCMV6-Entry-5-8F as control.
