Analysis of metagenome for fungal community of soil under Tricholoma matsutake's fruiting body.

In this study, soil fungal communities from Gyeongju and Yeongdeok, South Korea were analyzed using the barcoded pyrosequencing method to determine the difference of fungal communities between the soil under T. matsutake fruiting body (sample-2) and where shiro of T. matsutake was already passed (sample-1). Also, the same spot was investigated three times a year to see changes in the community. We analyzed fungal species richness, diversity and taxonomic composition.
