Photo illustrations of new and noteworthy species of Ophiopogon and Peliosanthes (Asparagaceae) from Laos, Vietnam and Thailand

Data set contains illustrations of Ophiopogon robustus and Peliosanthes rubra from northern Laos and P. convallarioides from central Vietnam as species new to science. Ophiopogon robustus is close to O. platyphyllus from southern China, P. rubra is similar to P. densiflora from Laos and P. convallarioides is close to P. argenteostriata from Laos and Vietnam. Additionally, we record and illustrate P. campanulata from Thailand, and provide new data on the distribution of P. teta in Laos and Vietnam. Methods Data were collected during fieldwork in eastern Indochina.
