A genome wide associated study for diapause intensity was performed on a haw infesting population of Rhagoletis pomonella from Grant, Michigan, USA. Diapause intensity is defined as the recalcitrance to premature diapause termination in the face of pre-winter warming. Diapause intensity was measured through a combination of emergence timing and stop flow respirometry.
