Curvilinear velocity of common carp spermatozoa activated in the presence of ovarian fluid

The data represent the motility traits (curvilinear velocity) of common carp (<i>Cyprinus carpio</i>) spermatozoa in various activating solutions: ovarian fluid, its dilutions and molecular weight fractions, water and salines with different osmolarity and calcium ion content. Video records of motile cells were analyzed using ImageJ software and the following plugins: CASA and CASA modified for multiple analyses. The assessment of motility parameters in different activation media was conducted in triplicate for 10 males in water, dilutions of ovarian fluid and NaCl isotonic saline, and 3 males in MWCO fractions of ovarian fluid.
