Fungal Profiling of Holothuria glaberrima Eviscerated Gut Metagenomic Libraries Using ITS Gene Analysis

The data provided is the Internal Transcribed Space (ITS) sequences from metagenomic libraries generated from four distinct regions of the eviscerated gut of Holothuria glaberrima. The regions sampled are: the complete digestive system (DS), the washed intestine (WI), the contents from the washed intestine (CW), and the fecal content (FC). The specimens were collected from Pinones Beach in San Juan, Puerto Rico. This approach facilitates the analysis of fungal biodiversity within the eviscerated gut of H. glaberrima.
