<strong>Vietnam National Competency Standards for Midwifery: A Delphi Study</strong>

This study uses a Delphi approach to create competency requirements for midwifery in Vietnam. A literature review served as the foundation for the initial development of the draught midwifery competency standard. A two-round Delphi survey was completed by midwives and professionals who deal with midwives to assess the applicability of standards of competence on a four-point Likert scale. In the second round, the criteria having a consensus of less than 80% underwent revision. The study's findings showed that most participants ranked midwifery competency as quite relevant or higher.
