Share of news readers South Korea 2021, by age group

According to a survey conducted in South Korea in 2021, around 84 percent of South Koreans aged 30 to 39 years old stated that they read the news. On average, around 66.3 percent of South Koreans were reading the news, either in traditional printed formats or online. Readership starts dropping off drastically in age groups 60 years and older.
