Wetlands in Utah

Wetlands was compiled from the US Fish and Wildlife Service’s National Wetland Inventory (NWI) with additional data from US Forest Service, Utah Geological Survey, and Utah Automated Geographic Reference Center using the Cowardin (1979) classification scheme. In addition to the Cowardin fields, data has been attributed by the Utah Geological Survey to provide functional and descriptive codes associated with each wetland class. This data set is maintained by the Utah Geologic Survey and will be updated monthly.
