We assembled the genome of the king horseshoe bat and the genome assembly size was 2.1 Gb with a contig N50 of 75.26 Mb and 99.9% of the total sequences were further anchored onto 30+XY chromosomes. And we used this reference-quality genomes in both conservation genomics and comparative genomics (e.g., chromosomal evolution).
