NRS-15725 | On-Time Running Reports

These Reports were circulated for the information of members of the On-Time Running Committee. They contain detailed summaries of Suburban and Interurban train performance, and include comparison tables, statistics, and graphs showing the percentages of peak hour services running on time, number of delays generally, number and types of incidents causing delays, allocation of Branch responsibility for incidents, and Branch reports. Reports were prepared several times a year for each "Accounting Period". These appear to have commenced at the beginning of each financial year, and to have consisted of varying lengths of time from two to five weeks duration. Accounting Periods were numbered consistent with chronological order, but undated except for the year. Custody HistoryThis series was formerly part of the State Rail Archives collection. It may have been viewed in the State Rail Archives as series R45 and could have been previously cited as such in notes by researchers at State Rail Archives or in publications or unpublished works.
