Work-family conflict, exhaustion, and withdrawal behaviors among mainland China’s IT employees: Does job autonomy matter?

In this study, we explored work–family conflict in the rapidly growing IT industry, which may result in higher turnover rates. We tested the mechanism of work–family conflict and work withdrawal behaviors using the data of 389 IT employees in mainland China. We believe that our study makes a significant contribution to the literature because few studies have focused on both the relationships and mechanisms between work–family conflict and work withdrawal behaviors among employees in the IT industry.
