Geographical and bathymetric distribution of marine fishes and their genetic coverage for eDNA metabarcoding

This Rdata file contains 7 data frames: Actinopterygii: Depth range, IUCN red list category, availability of metabarcoding markers sequences (teleo, MiFish-U and MiFish-E) and number of mismatches on the forward and reverse primers for 10,826 Actinopterygii species. Chondrichthyes: Depth range, IUCN red list category, availability of metabarcoding markers sequences (teleo, MiFish-U and MiFish-E) and number of mismatches on the forward and reverse primers for 960 Chondrichthyes species. Mat_Pa_actinopterygii: 1° resolution presence-absence spatial grid for 10,826 Actinopterygii species. This presence-absence spatial grid was constructed using the occurrence data from the OBIS database. Mat_Pa_Chondrichthyes: 1° resolution presence-absence spatial grid for 960 Chondrichthyes species. This presence-absence spatial grid was constructed using the Spatial Data & Mapping Resources of the IUCN Red List.
