Open reading frames detected in a whole genome sequence of monkey pox virus

This work presents a catalogue of open reading frames detected in the whole genome sequence of monkey pox virus downloaded from GenBank (Accession number: GCA_025462475.1_ASM2546247v1). Open reading frames are here defined to be genes with more than 60 base pair, and starts with an AUG codon. An in-house MATLAB software also calculates the molecular weight of the gene, protein sequence of the gene, and expected molecular weight of the coding protein, and the isoelectric point of the protein. Altogether, 255 open reading frames were detected in this monkey pox virus genome.
