Underlying data for:Overestimated daytime HONO production from nitrate photolysis in coastal aerosols

This repository contains the underlying datasets supporting the research article "Overestimated daytime HONO production from nitrate photolysis in coastal aerosols". The dataset consists of three files:1. Ions_and_OCEC_Xiamen_Pingtan.xlsx: Seasonal mass concentrations of water-soluble inorganic ions (SNA, halides, etc.) and carbonaceous components (OC and EC) in PM2.5 collected at the Xiamen (IUE) and Pingtan (PEMC) sampling sites.2. Jmeas_and_Jcorr_Xiamen_Pingtan.xlsx: Directly measured photolysis rate constants (Jmeas) and optical shielding-corrected equivalent monolayer photolysis rate constants Jcorr of particulate nitrate for all ambient samples.3. Xiamen_HONO_Budget.xlsx: Hourly daytime HONO observation records, calculated source terms (including homogeneous production and particulate nitrate photolysis SHONO), and sink terms used for the seasonal steady-state budget calculations in Xiamen.
