The multilayer substrate comprises: a first layer comprising at least 60% by weight of non-linear synthetic binder fibers having an average length greater than 2 mm; And a second layer comprising at least 60% by weight of cellulose fibers, wherein the first layer is in a face-to-face relationship with the second layer, and the multi-layer substrate has a wet/dry tensile ratio of at least 60%.
