资源简介:
Specimens of Andrena bees (Hymenoptera, Andrenidae) were collected in the Cazorla mountain range (Jaén province, southeastern Spain) during pollinator censuses conducted over 1997-2024, in the course of bee surveys during 1982-2025, or in connection with ecological research on bee thermal ecology (Herrera 1995, Herrera et al. 2023, Herrera 2024). Collected bees (1,948 specimens from 89 different Andrena species) had associated data on the species of plant in whose flowers they were probing for nectar and/or gathering pollen when captured. These data have been combined to elucidate the composition of food plants used by the species of Andrena occurring in the region. Collectively, species of Andrena were recorded visiting flowers of 129 different plant species from 81 genera in 33 families. This data repository consist of the following single file:andrena.specsDelimited text file containing plant-Andrena species pairs, plant family, and the number of individuals recorded for each bee-plant combination. Variable names are in the first row of the file. Bee nomenclature follows Wood (2023), and plant nomenclature follows Gómez Mercado (2011) with only minor updates.References citedGómez Mercado F (2011) Vegetación y flora de la Sierra de Cazorla.
