资源简介:
The Risk-Screening Environmental Indicators (RSEI) model is a tool developed by EPA designed to help assess and evaluate the potential risks posed by environmental pollution. It incorporates publicly available EPA Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) data to estimate the potential health and environmental risks from hazardous chemicals that are released into the environment. The model provides aggregated data from more than 30 years of TRI reporting. Disaggregated results are also available in the RSEI Geographic Microdata. The RSEI model is particularly valuable for understanding the broad-scale impact of industrial pollution on environmental and public health and helping target efforts for pollution reduction and risk mitigation.
