Supporting data for “Revisiting Western Translation Theories: An Integrational Approach to Translation”

This dataset contains information regarding 15 interviews done with informants all personally known to the interviewer (the author) on their experience with and understanding of translation. <br>Folders A-C store background information and preparation work prior to the interviews; folders D-F are interview materials and raw data obtained from interviews – interview questions were either read to informants from a hardcopy of the interview script and question set in folder D in the interviewer’s hand or shown to informants with the aid of the PowerPoint slides in folder E; the transcripts in folder G were produced from transcribing parts of the interview recordings in folder F – the transcription key can be found on the first page of both items (transcribed extracts in docx. and pdf format) in folder G. <br>
