ROMS configuration and fjord-mouth volume transports for southeast Greenland fjord silica budgets (Huang et al.)
收藏资源简介:
Model configuration, analysis code, extracted fjord-mouth sections and derived volume transport tables supporting the fjord-shelf exchange estimates in Huang et al., "Silica budgets reveal Arctic glacier fjords are efficient silica sinks". A Regional Ocean Modeling System (ROMS) configuration that covers the southeast Greenland shelf from 56.4 to 66.8 N on a 2000 by 600 grid with resolution of about 250 m inside the fjords and 30 terrain-following levels, with subglacial discharge from 56 marine-terminating glaciers represented by the ICEPLUME module. Included are configuration and compiler options, model grid, subglacial discharge forcing, and MATLAB scripts that build the remaining input files from public reanalyses. For the mouths of Sermilik, Sikuijivitteq (Mogens Heinesen Fjord) and Kangerlussuatsiaq (Lindenow Fjord), we provide extracted June to September 2008 cross-sections (temperature, salinity, normal velocity and layer geometry for 40 three-day means), Python code that computes Atlantic Water and glacially modified water volume transports, subglacial discharge tracer content of the outflow.
