Seismic Avalanche Signals recorded in Dischma Valley above Davos, Switzerland
收藏资源简介:
This repository hosts the seismic event data accompanying our publication, Autoencoder-based feature extraction for the automatic detection of snow avalanches in seismic data. It contains seismic events recorded with an array of five sensors (CS, CT, NE, SE, WE) in Dischma Valley, above Davos, Switzerland. The central sensor (CT) is a three-component LE-3Dlite seismometer (eigenfrequency 1Hz, sensitivity 800 V/(m/s)), while the other four are single-component Lennartz LE-1D/V seismometers (eigenfrequency 1Hz, sensitivity 800 V/(m/s)). All waveform data have been converted to ground motion [m/s] for ease of use. In addition to the waveform data, a CSV file provides event labels for avalanches and earthquakes. Some events were verified using camera footage and a Doppler radar. For events where verification was not possible, three experts labelled them independently to ensure reliability. In total, this dataset contains 84 avalanches, 183 earthquakes and 645 unrelated (noise) events.
