麻花钻加工C45或42CrMo等P类材料过程中,当钻削过程由钻入阶段进入稳定钻削阶段后,切屑由长螺卷屑变为正常颗粒切屑,只要后续切削过程中不发生切屑拥堵,加工产生的切屑几何形貌由钻尖结构(包括切削刃形状、前角和切削刃口处理方式)决定,不受钻削深度的影响。因此,要测试深孔麻花钻的断屑性能,只需要测试相同钻尖结构麻花钻的断屑性能。
During the machining of P-type materials such as C45 and 42CrMo with twist drills, when the drilling process transitions from the initial drilling-in stage to the steady-state drilling stage, the chips transform from long spiral curls to normal granular chips. Provided that no chip congestion occurs in the subsequent cutting process, the chip geometry generated during machining is determined by the drill point geometry (including cutting edge shape, rake angle, and cutting edge preparation methods), and is not affected by the drilling depth. Therefore, to test the chip-breaking performance of deep-hole twist drills, it is only necessary to test the chip-breaking performance of twist drills with the same drill point geometry.
