资源简介:
Dietzia maris is gram positive, aerobic, non-spore-forming soil bacteria, which form cocci that can develop into short rods. It was first isolated from soil samples and the intestines of carp. It forms smooth yellow to orange colonies and their colony appearance is very similar to Rhodococcus equi. D. maris is of interest mostly because of its importance in waste water treatment and a potential application in bioremediation of soil environments. In 1999 the bacteria D.maris was determined to be an opportunistic pathogen. D. maris belongs to group of mycolic-acid containing actino-mycetes. Additionally to those mycolic acids, mycolata contain a high amount of channel forming proteins which are responsible for the uptake of hydrophilic compounds and the release of cell products such as the pathogenicity factor resulting in diseases in humans. Channel forming protein was studied and characterized in D.maris. Our goal was to find the porin forming gene in D.maris.
