The project aim is a characterisation of the transcriptional effect of the protein Zip1 on the maize plant. This effect is further compared against the changes in the transcriptomic profile induced by treatment of maize plants with salicylic acid (SA). In order to allow better statements on the strength of expression changes, both group (Zip1 and SA) are compared against mock treated plants.
