A price survey of 100g of clams across all supermarkets in the country revealed that the average price in October 2024 was 461 yen. During the period from January 2015 to October 2024 (a span of 58 months), the month with the highest price for clams across the nation was October 2024, at 461 yen, while the month with the lowest price was March 2018, at 309 yen. The price difference between the peak and lowest price periods of 100g clams across the national area, which were October 2024 and March 2018 respectively, was 152.184 yen.
