资源简介:
These are minutes of cases heard before the full court which usually show date of hearing, names of plaintiff, defendant and respective attornies, nature of proceedings (ie. causes, demurrer cases, appeals for administration, motions for new trials or non-suits, to set aside judgment, to obtain writs of prohibition). The fullness of minutes taken varies considerably. Elyard's minutes from 1842-Sep 1851 are extremely perfunctory showing in most cases merely attorney moving for petition, plea etc., result of petition in some cases noting judgment on costs. Later chief clerks' minutes are more complete, often giving fairly full summary of arguments in individual cases by respective attorneys and the judgment. (5/2714-16, 5/2747-825, 5/2827-29, 5/2831-33, 5/2835, 5/2837-51, 5/2853-70, 5/2898, 2/4290-4333). 168 vols.
