Novel azetidine-based Stat3 inhibitors induce misfolded protein response, endoplasmic reticulum stress and mitophagy, and inhibit breast tumor growth in vivo

To identify differentially expressed genes and pathways in human breast cancer cell line MDA-MB-231 cells that are treated with a novel Stat3 inhibitor or DMSO control. MDA-MB-231 cells were treated with DMSO (Control) or H182 at 2 µM for 2 hours. Total RNA was prepared and RNA-sequencing analysis was performed to determine differentially expressed genes as stated in the methods section in the manuscript.
