资源简介:
The availability of iron plays an important role in the expression of microRNAs. Metals are vital for adaptation of pathogens during development of infection. However, the influence of iron availability on the expression of pathogen microRNAs is poorly understood. The present work investigated the presence of miRNAs differentially expressed in Paracoccidioides brasiliensis (Pb 18) during iron deprivation with bifophenanthroline bisulphonic acid (BPS). Two miRNAs, PbFe_Mir1and PbFe_Mir2 were differentially regulated by the deprivation of this metal. In general, our results suggest that genes potentially regulated by those miRNAs are directly associated with processes of adaptation to iron deprivation a process imposed by host during infection.
