This dataset contains both the original benchmark instances from Prodhon, C. (2006), Le problème de localisation-routage [Doctoral dissertation, Troyes University of Technology, Troyes, France], and the adapted instances developed from these benchmarks for the computational study presented in the associated article.
The original benchmark instances were used as the basis for the study, while the adapted instances were constructed to support the analysis and comparison of two green variants of the Capacitated Location-Routing Problem (CLRP): the CLRP with Electric Vehicles (CLRPwEV) and the Bi-Objective CLRP. In particular, the adapted instances extend the classical CLRP test cases by incorporating environmental and energy-related parameters required for the evaluation of both economic and environmental performance in sustainable logistics network design.
Each instance defines a logistics network that includes customer demand points, potential depot locations, and vehicle fleet specifications. The data include additional variables related to energy consumption, CO₂ emissions, and depot construction impacts, enabling comparative analysis between electric vehicle (EV) and internal combustion engine vehicle (ICEV) configurations.
The dataset is provided in Excel format. Each worksheet contains a group of original benchmark and adapted instances organised according to consistent problem dimensions.
This dataset is made publicly available to support transparency, reproducibility, and future research on green location-routing problems and sustainable logistics optimisation.
