BPD School Resource Officers

This is a point data set representing the schools where School Resource Officers are currently assigned. A School Resource Officer is a sworn officer with the Boise Police Department and assigned to a school or group of schools. SROs are focused on cultivating positive relationships through education and mentorship. They also lead investigations involving juvenile victims and suspects and work to divert youth away from the juvenile justice system. This data was created by the City of Boise. This data is updated as needed, based on assignment changes for SROs. It is current to the date of publication.
