Searching for genetic mutations associated with pleomorphic carcinomas. Homo sapiens

Pleomorphic lung cancer is a rare disease accounting for 0.3% of all cancers. It has a poor prognosis due to post-operative recurrence and metastasis. However, due to the rarity of pleomorphic carcinoma, the molecular genetics of the disease is not well understood and the relationship between cancer-related genes and pleomorphic carcinoma is unclear. These will be clarified, leading to the identification of factors associated with therapeutic efficacy in lung pleomorphic carcinoma.
