Identification of Staphylococcus/Mammaliicoccus/Enterobacterales associated with ruminants in Rwanda

Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is a significant public health problem, especially in developing countries like Rwanda. However, there is no much information on AMR in bacteria associated with both, human infections and domestic animals from Rwanda. Without appropriate data on the current AMR situation, the dissemination of pandemic clones between farm animals and humans in Rwanda could go unnoticed or remain in the background in the lack of appropriate surveillance programs.
