Dataset IMAGINING DYSTOPIA WITH THE MACHINE: GENERATIVE AI, SPECULATIVE NARRATIVE AND THE LIMITS OF EMPATHIC REPRESENTATION IN POSTDIGITAL HIGHER EDUCATION

This dataset contains the anonymized responses of 58 undergraduate students (Degrees in Pedagogy and Social Education) at two Spanish higher education institutions. The students took part in a classroom intervention in which they wrote dystopian synopses about real social problems and translated them into AI-generated images (Leonardo.ai) and a short video (Invideo.ai). Data were collected with an ad hoc online questionnaire (Google Forms) administered once, after the intervention. Each row corresponds to one participant, identified by a code from P01 to P58.
