The Nucleic Acid Knowledgebase

The Nucleic Acid Knowledgebase (NAKB), new portal for 3D structural information about Nucleic Acids, is the planned successor to the Nucleic Acid Database (NDB), as described in this recent review: Berman HM, Lawson CL, Schneider B (2022) Developing Community Resources for Nucleic Acid Structures. Life 12, 540. NAKB provides search, report, statistics, atlas and visualization pages for all nucleic-acid containing experimentally determined 3D structures held by NDB and by the Protein Data Bank (PDB), including all major methods: X-ray, NMR, and Electron Microscopy. For each structure, links are provided to external resources that annotate and analyze nucleic acid structures and their complexes.

核酸知识库（Nucleic Acid Knowledgebase, NAKB）是一款面向核酸三维结构信息的新型门户网站，其作为核酸数据库（Nucleic Acid Database, NDB）的规划继任平台，正如近期发表的综述文章所述：Berman HM、Lawson CL、Schneider B（2022）《Developing Community Resources for Nucleic Acid Structures》，刊载于《Life》12卷，第540页。NAKB可为核酸数据库（NDB）与蛋白质数据银行（Protein Data Bank, PDB）收录的所有经实验测定的含核酸三维结构提供检索、报告生成、统计分析、结构图集及可视化服务页面，涵盖X射线衍射、核磁共振（Nuclear Magnetic Resonance, NMR）、电子显微镜等主流实验解析方法。针对每一个结构，平台均提供指向外部资源的链接，这些外部资源可对核酸结构及其复合物开展注释与分析工作。
