We examined the composition of bacterial communities in laboratory microcosms established with manure and soil from one farm (soil S) to analyze the effect of manure on both TET-resistant subcommunities and total bacterial communities at the manure-soil interlayer. Particularly, we sequenced a phylogenetic marker (16S rRNA gene) to identify bacterial taxa in 54 samples, including fresh manure (Ex) and soil from the interlayer in 4 treatments (control soil [treatment A], soil + nutrients [treatment B], manure soil [treatment C] and manure γ-irradiated soil [treatment D]) at 7 and 84 days. Three technical replications were performed per treatment and time. DNA sequences were grouped into 10.581 operational taxonomic units (OTUs) defined at 97 % sequence identity.
