Atavism was identified as an evidence of biological evolution. Research on the atavism is meaningful for deeply comprehending the origin of species. However, the causes and nature of atavisms was poorly understood. Here, our study was to conduct genome resequencing of 6 siblings merinos, which 3 of them was Atavism wool and the others were non-Atavism.
