RNA sequencing from hippocampal total lysates of the rTg4510 tauopathy mouse model.

RNA seqeuncing was perfomed to compare transcriptomic profiles of rTg4510 and control at three, six and nine month time points. Overall design: Total RNA was isolated from hippocampi of rTg4510 and control mice at three, six and nine months. rRNA-depeleted total RNA was then sequenced using an Illumina HiSeq 4000 with 76 bp paired-end stranded reads at ~30 million reads per sample. The founder rTg4510 and non-transgenic control mice (mixed 129S6, FVB genetic background) were obtained from the Jackson Laboratory (IMSR_JAX:024854).
