DELIVERY OF BEST PERFORMING ULVA SPP. STRAINS TO ALGAPLUS FOR TESTING AT THEIR FARM

Report on the analysis of approximately 50 input strains following genotyping (Sanger) and phenotyping for growth, morphological (SLA) and biochemical characteristics (Ulvans, sugars, protein, Amino acids) was made. From the screening, the three best performing Ulva spp. strains were identified, cryo-banked and delivered to ALGP to be tested on their farm.
