Another Gloss on Ḳûshjî’s Commentary, by MÎR ṢADR AL-DÎN Abu Naṣr Muḥammad Ḥusainî Shîrâzî (d. A.H. 903). This is the second gloss by the author, written in reply to the second gloss (الحاشیة الجدیدة) of Dawwânî. It is dedicated to the Ottoman Sultan Bâyazîd II (who reigned from A.H. 894 to 918). See Ḥ. Kh. ii. 200, and Aumer, Hdss. Münch. 295. Cf. Cat. Mus. Brit. 452.

The first annotation begins:

قوله ای علی آله....محبوبیه قال الشارح فیما کتب علی الحاشیة قیل لم یرد به معینا الخ

This MS. terminates abruptly in a note to the words و احتج المص علی ما اختاره, from the fourth فصل of the second مقصد (=fol. 189 of no. 409). It is written in various hands, of the beginning of the eleventh century. The first quire and the last were written by Nûr Allah Yazdî. Corrections on the margin. Worm-eaten.
