资源简介:

The primary data for the present Ph.D. research were collected from selected households in Chhattisgarh, India, over a six-month period from October 2025 to March 2026. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire administered on a 24-hour dietary recall basis to assess the consumption patterns of fruits and vegetables. The questionnaire recorded the quantity of individual fruits and vegetables consumed, expressed in grams per day (g/day). Information was collected on the frequency of consumption, categorized as daily, weekly, monthly, occasionally, or never. The assessment covered 20 types of fruits and more than 46 types of vegetables commonly consumed in the study area. The study further examined the **contribution of fruit and vegetable consumption to nutrient adequacy among the selected households. The reported quantities of fruits and vegetables were used to estimate their contribution to the intake of key nutrients and to assess the extent to which consumption patterns met the recommended dietary requirements. This approach provided a comprehensive assessment of the quantity, frequency, diversity, and nutritional contribution of fruit and vegetable consumption among households in Chhattisgarh.
