[Supplementary] <b>Meta-Analysis of Antibiotic Strategies on Survival in Drug-Resistant</b><b> </b><b><i>Acinetobacter baumannii</i></b><b>: Does quantity matter?</b>

This meta-analysis illustrates the difficulty of treating infections by Acinetobacter baumannii, particularly when it involves MDRAB, XDRAB, and CRAB strains. The results suggest that combination therapy may have benefits in select settings, especially in improving survival for patients with CRAB infections or moderate severity (APACHE II <20). Nonetheless, it does not always exceed the efficacy of monotherapy for all resistance type–clinical scenarios. This study highlights the significance of patient-specific factors, including age, infection type, and disease severity, in assessing the effectiveness of treatment strategies.
