StreamFRE Abundance Macroinvertebrate

Collection of macroinvertebrates in Quebrada Prieta A and B (QPA and QPB) Stream, as part of the Stream Flow Reduction Experiment (StreamFRE). Data collection from this data set spans from October 2016 - December 2020. Macroinvertebrates are collected using corer samplers in pools and Surber samplers in riffles. Samples are collected monthly in QPB from 3 pools (P1A, P11, P13) and 3 riffles, and bimonthly in 6 QPB pools (P1B, P3, P5, P10, P12,P14). Samples are collected monthly in QPA from 3 pools (P1, P5, P7) and 3 riffles, and bimonthly in 6 QPA pools (P2, P3, P4, P6, P8, P9). Macroinvertebrates include those with common names like shrimp, molluscs, beetles, mayfly nymphs, dragonfly nymphs and other fly nymphs.
