This file contains two-photon microscopy data of the forepaw region of the neocortex from THY1-ChR2-EYFP mice (#007612, line 18, Jackson Laboratory). vasculature was labelled with TexasRed Dextran (channel 1) and pyramidal neurons were labelled with EYFP (channel 2). Images were gathered on an FVMPE-RS microscope (Olympus, Japan) using a 25x/1.05NA objective. An Insight tunable Ti:Saphire near-infrared laser (SpectraPhysics, USA) was used for 900 nm excitation of Texas Red and EYFP. Images are paired and alternated with optogenetic stimulations. These data are associated with the article, "A Deep Learning Pipeline for Mapping in situ Network-level Neurovascular Coupling in Multi-photon Fluorescence Microscopy" by Rozak et al. (2025). The data were used to develop and test pipelines to investigate changes to cerebrovascular network geometry following optogenetic stimulation. (https://doi.org/10.7554/eLife.95525.4)
